DESIGN

Barrel Shaped Pocket Spring, 28cm free height and 7 convolutions. Each spring individually encased in needle punch non-woven fabric, which are joined together to form the unit.

HEAT TREATMENT

The Spring Unit is heat treated for rust proofing and stress relief.

TENSILE STRENGTH

165 – 185kg/m²

PRIMARY INSULATION

1000g/m² 10mm soft cotton felt on top side, 1000g/m² 10mm hard cotton felt at the bottom of the spring unit.

PADDING

50mm high-resilient foam as pillow top layer covering the insulation on one side of the spring unit.

COVER

Knitted stretch 88.8% Polyester, 8.8% Viscose and 2.4% Lycra, Fire Retardant BS EN 597 – 1 & BS EN 597 – 2, sanitized against fungi and bacteria. Multi-needled quilted to 40mm 100% rebonded foam together with 18g/m² remay as backing.

FLANGING

40mm needle punch non-woven fabric, 80g/m²

BORDER/STABILIZER

4.8mm oil tempered wire clipped to the spring unit to provide more support and stability of the unit.

EDGE & CORNER GUARD

3.8mm corner spring and edge guard to provide extra support and strength and create more sleeping area space.

HANDLES

Four fabric strip 55mm wide, two on each side of the mattress will be surged to the border tape.
